Systems integration and modernization / US remote

Connect the useful parts. Change with context.

A working business rarely gets to start from a blank page. Identify where existing systems stop sharing useful information, then choose a change that respects the work already in motion.

A useful first engagement

Review one boundary between systems: what information crosses it, which source owns each value and what happens when an update fails. Test an incremental path before proposing a replacement.

What the scope can include

  • An interface and dependency map with ownership and access requirements.
  • A scoped integration experiment or modernization plan, with explicit assumptions.
  • Validation, recovery and handover requirements for the agreed change.

Implementation and handoff

AI supports how I develop a solution. Depending on the problem, the result may be a better-configured tool, an integration, a dashboard or a custom workflow. It does not necessarily need AI to operate.

Agree the scope, access, client participation, acceptance examples and stopping conditions before starting. Production deployment, operating ownership, maintenance and support are scoped separately. Identify any specialist review needed before committing to that work.

How I work with AI →

How we evaluate the improvement

Reconcile representative records, exercise missing and duplicate updates, and check that failures are visible to an owner. Evaluate disruption and recovery alongside the intended improvement.

ILLUSTRATIVE APPLICATION / NOT A CLIENT RESULT

An enterprise team could assess one reporting handoff between a legacy source and a review interface. A bounded pilot would reconcile outputs and test recovery without assuming a company-wide migration or uninterrupted production rollout.

What shapes the budget?

Vendor API access, data quality, identity and permissions, migration volume, testing environments and operational risk shape the quote. Enterprise security or procurement requirements must be assessed before an engagement is agreed.

When a different approach makes sense

Some vendors restrict interfaces or charge for access. Unsupported systems and high-risk operations may require vendor participation or specialist expertise whose participation must be agreed. Compatibility and delivery capacity are established in discovery, not assumed.

Do we need a complete rewrite?

A narrower interface improvement or integration may solve the problem with less disruption. Replacement becomes a candidate when the existing constraints prevent the required outcome.

Can you work with an enterprise team?

Start with a bounded technical assessment. Access, security review, responsibilities, capacity and support expectations must be agreed before implementation.
